Tooth Whitening

Our bleaching techniques

We offer two methods of tooth whitening:

  • Teeth whitening in a clinic

This “express” whitening technique is performed in the dental chair by a dentist and offers the possibility of a quick glow for an important event (a wedding for example).

  • Tooth Whitening at Home

This “conventional” whitening technique(home bleaching) is done with the help of trays worn a few hours a day or during the night for a period of 7 to 14 days depending on the desired shade. The products (in the form of a whitening gel) penetrate deeper into the tooth and make the whitening more effective and long-lasting.

In this way, the trays can be reused for whitening whenever you wish, simply by purchasing a whitening syringe. Keep your mouthpieces in good condition!

What you need to know:
Frequently asked questions

What is the best treatment for whitening teeth?

The most effective method over time is home tooth whitening with mouthpieces. Indeed, the penetration of the lightening products is deeper because of prolonged contact with the teeth. The products used are also less aggressive.

What are the risks of teeth whitening?

Properly performed, tooth whitening poses no risk to either your tooth enamel or your health, especially as any contraindications are ruled out before treatment.
Transient sensitivities may nevertheless occur during whitening, but are entirely manageable by following a precise protocol. Be careful though, you run the risk of making people envious with your bright smile 😉

What to do after tooth whitening?

Following a tooth whitening procedure, we fluoridate the teeth in order to prevent sensitivities, fix the new shade and generally prevent the development of cavities. During bleaching, there are no specific dietary restrictions. However, all colorants (because they may create stains, yellowing or other colorations) should be excluded during fluoridation (red wine, tea, coffee, cigarettes, spices, etc.).
