Our interest in dentistry was sparked by events that took place long ago. In 1988, Dejan Panajotovic (our father), then a young dentist, graduated in Serbia and lacked the resources to settle in his country. He travelled to Switzerland to save more rapidly and to be able to finance his project on his return. Spontaneously, he started looking for a job in a dental practice, but he was only offered low-income positions because he did not hold a Swiss diploma. That same year, the hospital in Estavayer-le-Lac was recruiting nurses, and Dejan seized that opportunity.

In 1992, after a few years of work and some savings, he returned to his native land to begin work on opening his dental practice. As the project was about to be executed, tensions in the Balkans started to rise. Concerned about the well-being of his family, including that of his young child, he resigned himself to returning to Switzerland. There he found his employment as a nurse and kept it throughout his career. The thought that he did not have the chance to practice the profession he had studied for could not leave us indifferent, so we decided to become the extension. Our desire to become dentists and settle in Switzerland one day was practically innate and only became more potent with time. Graduating from Geneva in 2015, Nikola Panajotovic decided to settle down after a year of clinical practice, as his work was no longer in line with his ideas. Of a “do-it-yourself” nature —helped by his friends and his brother, also a dentist— he created his first practice in Domdidier during the summer of 2016.
